It takes less time to level up your DexNav than it does to find good Dittos. There's a Mirage Island with Dittos, I spend about 1 and a half hour on it and got two 4 IV ones and 6+ 3 IV Dittos. That's a lot better than the shitty 2 IV Dittos from the Friend Safari.
You can find MUCH, MUCH more Pokemon with the DexNav. Literally the entire Hoenn Dex, the Mirage Island Pokemon and 1~3 extra mons for every Route and dungeon post-National Dex (Sometimes they repeat). 4 Pokemon x 3 Slots x 18 types (This number is inflated, Ghost, Dragon, Fairy, Fighting, etc don't have 4 Pokemon options for every slot AND Pokemon repeat in slots like Deddene, Mawile, etc) = 216 Pokemon. The Dex Nav has access to more Pokemon, because the Hoenn Dex alone has 192 Pokemon (excluding legendaries and starters, but including all pokemon of a line). Really limited my ass.
Finding egg moves with the Dex Nav is much better than the other option that is actually breeding. Friend Safari doesn't offer that.
