My mind assumed Jolly, my bad.

Physical Rayylmao just has better moves available to it, honestly. Extreme Speed, Dragon Dance/Swords Dance for really giving people the dick, Dragon Ascent is also physical.

also, what the fuck, deoxys? not only do I have to RNG up a decent ray, I have to also get a good deoxys in one go? can I defeat it and will it show up again?

Deoxys pops up at the Sky Pillar if you beat it after you beat the E4 again, and I think you can SR it for stats/nature there.

Dexnav search them. I prefer ralts as most will be level 3 and not yet know teleport

Faint Deoxys and clear the elite 4 again, it'll appear at the top of Sky Pillar

Catch Ray, smash zinnia, kill deoxys

Use a reset bag in super training on Ray, beat elite 4, go back to sky pillar and catch deoxys

Also, powersaves completely mitigate all these problems with literally zero downsides (inb4 "that's not how you're supposed to play pokemon)

I highly doubt SRing and using an online ev checker is either

Adamant doesn't hit anything remarkably harder than Jolly, while the speed from jolly is extremely important in outspeeding threats
