Been running this exact set with an Assault Vest and have been having a good bit of success. Serperior needs the extra bulk the vest gives him, and after a Leaf Storm boost, he hits hard as hell even without a Life Orb sapping his life away.

People nag it over 75 Sp Att, but they do neglect to mention that it not only busts out with a 120 bp attack, but gets a free Nasty Plot off it too. Reaching full power is easy. The fact it's actually very fast means this thing will be bloody effective. Now if I just had one.

I'm going to try run a bulky screens setter. Everyone will be expecting the life orb, so when Serps comes and scares something out, I'll set up screens when the counters come out.

It will hopefully retain some late game sweeping potential just running off the sheer power of contrary leaf storms, but I wont be expecting to plough through everything with him.

Not sure if I should forsake HP for speed but there definitely is no need go any investment in Sp.Atk. Some calculations shoe that serperior can OHKO a lot of top threats after a boost and 2 for heatran. Just thought it could use the bulk to savor up those nasty plots

In UU i'm using a scarfed variant, I bring it in when when opponents team is sufficiently weakened from wall breakers (Nidos/Darm work well have nice synergy) then just spam leaf storm until everything is gone. It's one of the better cleaners in the tier imo. I don't think clicking any other move is necessary besides the very occasional hidden power but everything besides leaf storm is the definition of filler.
