Rusefox's defenses are quite shitty, illusion is very gimmicky (would work better if Zoroark doesn't get damaged when brought out of illusion), and it's not fast enough to make up for its paper thin defenses and semi-lower HP. It also, apparently, scares little children. I personally think it's pretty alright, though being an event only mon, until BW2, was highly annoying. But I like that Zoroark did make an appearance, and disguised, during the in-game event.
Animubisdog, however, appears to be specifically crafted to be, essentially, the perfect pokemon. It bonds very well to trainers, it's extremely loyal, it can talk (or talk telekinetically) and understand human speech, it has a pretty good design, can read the aura of things, is quite strong and fast, pretty much a universally "good" pokemon, and etc. Now that I think about it, a lot of animubisdog sounds like the result of an OC made legitimate. No don't get my wrong, I like lucario, but it's a pokemon that can come off as a very badly written OC character.
