In the context of that, sure, but the problem is neither Satoshi in the Original Japanese Version nor Ash in the 4Kids dub said these tryhard OMG I'M SO COOLZ lines, you know?
Yeah: their voice acting, TR dialogue, lack of music sense, and so much more are larger problems, though.
