Seriously, how did people discover how Inkay, Nincada, or Pancham can evolve? I can understand if they would evolve through stones, but how did they find out that i have to rotate the 3ds, that i must have 5 pokemon in team or that i must have a dark pokemon in my team? I didn't remembet any NPC saying these things while playing Pokemon Y.

i used to wonder about this before the internet made everything super easy. i assume now people who worked on developing the game release info to others and it just spreads, or people just try a lot of ways to evolve things or get it by coincidence

You don't HAVE to have only 5 pokemon in the team to evolve Nincada, it's just that if you want a shedinja as well as a ninjask you have to have a space free. At least, that's the impression I was under? Never used a ninjask or shedinja.

Nincada does not evolve into Shedinja. It evolves into Ninjask, which only require being level 20.

So either you can't make it to level 20 or you don't know shit about pokemon. Either way, fuck off from /vp/

What I want to know is how people figured out how to get Regigigas to appear in ORAS. Having all three Regis on your team is obvious, but having to nickname your Regice and having it hold a Nevermeltice? Which NPC gives you hints for this?

It's not even a Nevermeltice all the time. It depends on what the girl in that Pacifidlog house tells you. It can be either the Nevermeltice, or the Castelia Cone, or some other item I can't remember now.

This. The Pancham and Inkay evolution methods were leaked before the game came out, so nobody ever had to "discover" them - they were known in advance, and all that had to be done was to confirm that the leaks were accurate. Not that it would have taken long for someone to figure them out, but it didn't even come to that.

Nincada?

It evolves at level 20 dude. As for Shedinja, luck. I got a shedinja recently without even trying because I was training my nincada to Ninjask and just happened to get shedinja at the same time.
