The battle bonuses and cutesy fun-ness of it are very appealing and I hope John Gamefreak doesn't get rid of it.

Still, walking Pokemon is another feature I wish was in every game.

I liked Poke Amie at first, but it got super repetitive and eventually felt more like a chore. I felt like a parent, and if i didn't play with my kids they would grow up fucked.

Amie gives increased chance to crit and stuff.

Most importantly in increases the exp a Pokemon can receive from battle.

What they could do is combine both walking and Amie for maximum efficiency, interact with the walking Pokemon activates Amie on the second screen, but you can still move around on the overworld.

You could make walking pokemon OHKO priority on all their attacks, wouldn't make it better. That's not the point.

I miss the feature, but you people to understand that creating an additional set of models for 700 Pokemon for something that adds pretty much nothing significant to the games whatsoever is stupid and the time/effort is better spent in other areas.

Sadly this is how I ended up feeling.

I liked Amie, and its fun seeing how all the different pokemon react (burning your hand on a Slugma for instance), but after a while it felt like a chore. I miss just being able to turn around and say hi to my pals, without feeling like I wasn't putting in the work if I didn't.
