But let's not kid ourselves. Everybody is well aware that plants and fungi are not the same.
But a lot of the characteristics are the same though, which makes "grass" the most fitting after all.
Fungi (especially mushrooms, which all those pokemon are based off) are mostly associated with forests. They are immobile like plants. Doesn't hunt or gather food like animals do.
