Probably the fastest I've gone from apathy to mega love recently was when Dedenne was revealed. So cute. On the other hand, my liking of Furfrou was definitely grown from "what the fuck is that" before it was officially revealed and took a playthrough to get acquainted, but I absolutely love it now.
Still hate the haircuts though, wild type furfrou a best.These are only two examples from Gen 6 though, there are tons of other pokemon that grew on me like that.
