I fucking hate Gen V's fanbase. So much. They're obnoxious, annoying and literally have shit to fling at every gen.

but Unova can do no wrong despite being barely any harder than X and Y, and all they really want in a game is to have a whole new dex of Pokemon, scrap Fairy-type and Mega Evolutions, and make it plot-based. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? It's literally Black and White: the Fresh Coat of Paint edition. I've got nothing against people who say the Fairy-type is overpowered, or people who say Mega Evolution is horribly executed, in fact, I see where those guys are coming from, really. But I just cannot stand how I always just see people praising Unova with little critisism. The sad part is, I like Gen V, with BW2 being my favourite single-player game overall, but not all of the Unova Pokemon are awesome, the story is not perfect, just good by Pokemon standards, and no, I am NOT a genwunner for critisizing b-b-based Unova. Seriously, they're WORSE than Genwunners.

You act like I've never seen it, but the thing is, Gen V's fanbase is EVERYWHERE, genwunners are usually contained to social media, and yeah they are really bad, but at least you can get away from them.

I know we don't have any real genwunners.

I hate Genwunners because they say "Gen I is better than the other Gens and after the Pokemon #151 all the Pokemon are shit" but they know that Gen I had a lot of glitches and Gen I also have the worst post-game in the Pokemon games with only complete the Pokedex.

No Battle Tower/Frontier/Subway/Maison nor Pokemon World Tournament, not even Contests/Musicals/Pokestar Studios. And after Mew there are cool-looking Pokemon like Bisharp, Tyranitar, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Zekrom, Metagross and Garchomp, only to name a few Mons.

I'm not a Gen V fan but I would like to say that Gen V is the best Gen because it has the best story to the date (B/W) and the best facility ever (B2/W2)

PWT was a novelty at best. It's a battle tower but with some gym leaders thrown in. Both Frontiers were better and unique.

I've seen a lot of viable criticism for Gen V on here in comparison to other Pokemon-related websites I lurk. Relatively less recently though.

I got one on top off my head. Your in-game "friends" are absolutely fucking shit. I wish they would die and I can't understand why anybody would like Cheren/Bell and that annoying trio.

It's only because gen V was the last good gen. The contrast with gen VI is pretty stark, and I like gen V's new pokemon a lot better than gen VI's.

That said, people don't usually defend it as rabidly as they do gen I.

I was wrong, and between its shit tier designs (aside from Xerneas) that don't resemble fairy stuff whatsoever for the most part and the fact it made the type chart balance even worse by having the typing itself being stupidly OP, it was the worst thing to happen to pokemon yet.

Generations do not have "fanbases" you dolts, except for maybe gen 1's on facebook. There is no correlation between liking one generation and propensity to fling shit. Everybody is a shitflinger who thinks their opinions are objective and that if you like one thing you must hate all its "competition". If you notice that one group is worse than another during genwars, it could be because of extraneous circumstances like how recently the game came out or something, but it's probably just that you're a biased faggot.

I seriously can't into competitive Pokemon. Most of my enjoyment of the series comes from catching 'em all, hunting shinies, and using "muh bros" in in-game runs.

I might be somewhat of a Karenfag in that case, but I hold no hard feelings towards Smogon or their rules whatsoever.

But because you can execute an incredibly complex series of maneuvers to make Missingno appear off the coast of Cinnabar, the game is shit? No, it's not, in fact they're kind of like Easter Eggs.
