Is it possible to cheat/hack in Pokemon OR/AS if one is using a digital copy from the eShop? What are all current methods of modifying save data for OR/AS?

As far as I know you'd have to get somebody to use powersaves on a cartridge and then trade it over to you.
In theory it would be possible to put your save data on an SD card and make a program that modifies it, then put it back on your 3DS, but haven't heard of anything that does that yet.
