Why

Adaptability Draco Meteor and something like thunderbolt /scald coverage for the occasional skarmory is fine enough. You shouldn't have that bad of a problem with fairies or even grass types.

HP Fire is much more useful than HP fighting since the common steel types will be things like scizor, klefki, skarmory, metagross, and ferrothorn
Out of which only ferrothorn takes fighting SE, and still would die easier to HP fire
