>>22346631They've used their own overworld sprites (even if they are in Gen 3 style), avoided referencing Pokémon and obviously have their own monsters. As long as they don't explicitly copy things like the battle screen, items etc. then they could easily argue it's just another monster catching RPG, which are quite common.
