I always smile whenever I see kids in the store getting excited about Pokemon. Since this thread is pointless, I guess I'll share a story.
Back in Omaha Nebraska, there's a goodwill central hub where they send all their overflow donations for a dollar a pound (and there's an entire warehouse of it, so they have to constantly rotate the tables to clear out the stock). Anyway, one time I was in there and find a Pikachu plush buried in a pile of junk. Since it was only 60 cents, I figured I'd grab it. In the back of the store I saw some kids running around with a Sneasel plush that they had apparently found, but didn't pay them much mind until one of them noticed the Pikachu and wanted to show me his Sneasel.
Like I said, you have to kind of wait around the store for them to bring in new tables of stuff, so I just sorta milled around for a while. At one point, some woman noticed the Pikachu I was carrying around and commented on it. She said that her kids were huge Pokemon fans and I said that I was too. Then I decided to just give her the plush toy, since I really only had it because it was cheap.
Anyway, the kids came up to me for the third or fourth time because they wanted to know Sneasel's moves. After naming the ones I could think of, the kid told me to wait there while he got some paper to write them down. Since the kid's mother was the same one from before, she seemed happy that I was keeping her kids busy while she shopped. After that, we sat around for like an hour talking about Pokemon while waiting for the store to put out new bins of stuff. From what I gathered, his knowledge of Pokemon came mainly from reruns of the anime on Boomerang.
Anyway, the kid kept asking me questions (like whether or not male Pokemon could learn attract). This one was, by far, my favorite:
