So I heard I can soft reset for a shiny Tornadus just by running away and summoning Lati@s again instead of turning the system off... Is this true, or is there any source to this?

Its true, it also works for the Lati@s you can catch with the Eon Ticket, I know it doesn't work for Reshiram though since you need to beat the E4 again for it to respawn.

Jesus christ people are fucking dense, once it transforms you check its stats and nature and then compare it to the next Tornadus that appears. If they have the same stats and nature they are the same Pokemon.

Well the stats looked the same, there isnt a way to check nature during a battle in ORAS.
