Let's talk about Hoopa. When will it be officially revealed? Will it play a large role in the upcoming movie? Why does it go from Psychic/Ghost at about a foot tall to Psychic/Dark at 21 feet tall? Why is it the only Pokémon in existence that changes species classification depending on its form? (Hoopa Confined is the Mischief Pokémon, Hoopa Unbound is the Djinn Pokémon)

Also, Hoopa art of all kinds welcome.

It seems fairly obvious to me. Hoopa-Confined is just that: confined. Its true form is an evil djinn (hence the Dark type), but when confined (probably against its will, some sort of 'sealing away evil' thing), its powers are limited, and maybe it even changes personality and becomes a little trickster instead.

There's also a theory going around that Hoopa-Unbound's larger body is stored inside its pocket dimension when it's in Confined forme. Kinda like seeing the tip of an iceberg.

I feel like, if only Hoopa Unbound can use Hyperspace Fury, then only Hoopa Confined should be able to use Hyperspace Hole. Not that it's as great a move as the other, but it would give Hoopa Confined at least a little uniqueness.

Hoopa Confined won't be that good, probably UU/BL2 because Chandelure outspeeds and decimates it with Shadow Ball.
Hoopa Unbound, on the other hand, will be top OU if not quickbanned to Ubers.

I agree with you on both of those. Nothing can really reliably switch in on Hoopa-C, but any faster physical attacker/faster thing with a Dark/Ghost move checks it. It might have a niche in OU because its movepool can fuck over stall sets.

Hoopa-U is like Kyurem-B but better. It gets a crazy physical movepool and a decent special one with Nasty Plot to back it up. U-Turn shits on it though and physical moves are everywhere in this meta which I would imagine are the main things that could hold it back from Ubers.

So correct me if I'm wrong, but Hoopa Confined can only use Hyperspace Hole, whereas Hoopa Unbound can use both Hyperspace Hole and Hyperspace Fury? The former learned via level-up and the latter taught by the move relearner in Fallarbor Town?

You're correct. Hoopa-U has nearly the same level up movepool as Hoopa-C. Hyperspace Hole is replaced with Fury, Phantom Force with Knock Off, and Shadow Ball with Dark Pulse. There are also a couple moves it doesn't learn through level up that Confined form does but I can't remember.
