Is there anything that's easier to do in Gen V, like EV training and the like? I'll probably be transferring some of these 'mons over to ORAS via the Poke Transporter, but it sucks that you have to do 30 at a time.

You can easily get a shitload of GP. If you are good, you can get 10 GP in 15 minutes. If you are able to RNG flawless pokemon, you can have a decent start for EV training.
