It was super fun though. I remember my little bro got it for Christmas one year and we stayed up super late on New Year's Eve/Day defeating it. I capped Suicune and he did the other two.

Anyway if you're interested Atlus is making a new Mystery Dungeon game, this time is a crossover with the Etrian Odyssey series instead of Pokémon though.

I'm actually being too harsh, I enjoyed pokemon ranger, but only when I didn't have to play it.

I swear to god, gameplay felt like a minigame.

Did the next instalments mix it up a little? I was too scarred to go back to ranger. I'd much rather write fanfiction than read it while drawing circles nonstop.

Notice how the games pummel in difficulty, in the original ranger you couldn't let your stylus off the screen and you had to move your beyblade down into a corner while suicune rained shit all over the place, but then almia introduced the timer.

it had an immense amount of side quests and bonus content and the gameplay was a complete improvement of the other games.
Ranger is probably one of the few series that didn't go to shit with every game.

I'm glad you can do it solo but it becomes impossible to play half way through the Fire temple and no one plays spin off games.
