Just setup my laptop to support homepass, and I think it's working (I'm able to connect to the internets and I get "you're in Nintendo Zone" sign).
Now I've been cycling through MACs (using MAC Cycle) for 30 minutes, but green LED is not turning on...
How long can it take to get passes?
I only confirmed (using netsh wlan show hostednetwork) that after MAC is changed, 3DS connects to the network for a few seconds, then disconnects. Does that mean it's working? Is there anything else I should check?
