The Pokemon, not the designs, not the Pokemon themselves, but the fact that it was a reboot is definitely a good thing, you had to use new mons and not the ones you've used a hundred times before, that was fun.

The towns in the region are really good, for some reason I like all of the cities and towns a lot, dunno why.

The characters, N is obvious, but there's also the Gym leaders, they're not just people you beat up and never see again, they actually have tiny roles in the story, stuff like the Shadow Triad were interesting, and random NPCs such as the ferris wheel ones.
And that's just with B/W, B/W2 were way better, and had more, better things in them.
