I'm doing the final battle at the sky pillar in delta, I wanted to SR for natures on Ray and Deo while using synchronize leads, is there any way to do that or am I just out of luck since it sends you straight through to deoxys after the fight with Rayquaza?

You can rematch Deoxys at Sky Pillar after you beat the Elite 4 once more post-Delta Episode. Just enjoy your Deoxys boss fight after you get a good Rayquayquay.

Good luck with that op. There's no point after the encounter with Ray that you can save until after the cutscenes that follow the Deoxys battle. Btw, hope you have a shit ton of balls, Deoxys is a bitch to catch, even more so than Kyogre/Groudon.

That's what I had planned to do, however since I lead with a jolly synchronizer for Ray, then capture Ray, it sends me straight through to Deoxys, and I'm assuming its nature is set at that point, can I still SR for a different nature on the second chance fight Or is the nature determined right there?

Deoxys will respawn after beating the E4 after clearing the Delta Episode, so just catch Ray and worry about Deoxys afterward.

As for IVs, nature, and ball, it would be drastically easier and less time-consuming just to powersave it, just FYI, I know people get analpained over the mere thought but it's literally indistinguishable

is it a completely DIFFERENT respawn? Or will it have the same nature as the first fight?

Also I just had a thought, you have the fight with Zinnia right after you catch Ray, if I lost that fight, Im assumign Id white out and wake up at the pokecenter to be able to check Rays stats and come back with a different synch lead for Deo, I might try that.

The point, at least in trying to attain as close to perfect pokes as possible, is to battle with them. SRing for hours on hours is just as unnatural as powersaving them, the only difference is one takes less time. Although it seems OP is going to SR for it, so to each his own, but to say that it's wrong to powersave is unfounded

using synchronize to altar the nature of a wild or stationary legendary is not the fucking same as powersaving them. It's a built in game mechanic designed to work exactly the way Im using it. I just want the nature correct, Im not SRing for hexperfect and shiny. gb2showderp
