they're great. Breeding is very much easier this gen, and it's great. But they are 700+ fucking species, different roles for a single mon, it's not like everyone finds it super enthusiastic to ride a bike through sand pits 20+ times to get what they want

if you really finds it rewarding to ride a fucking bike for hours to get your team ready and MAYBE have success with it, then fine, your call. But you're 1000 out of millions. You already have to breed for egg moves, natures, masuda method for who wants a shiny, SR for legendaries, leveling them up, ev training and testing them as a team. IV breeding is the most time consuming task of all of these, and what about baby pokemon? How did you guys had your competitive mons back in gen IV or V then you hardcore faggots?
