>>22383702Literally never said that or implied that. I said the reasons why it is bad, not just opinion based.
>>22383628>That is very easily manipulated.Come back when you get a six perfect IV Pokemon and tell me it's easily manipulated.
>Your point? If you want instant gratification, go buy something on the Apple StoreAgain way to miss my point, EV manages to make you work your Pokemon and make them better without having to breed and it's not instant gratification
>You didn't mention anything about Trick Room.Say you use Mega Mawile in Trick Room. Without IVs, you just give it no EVs in Speed to make it slower than everyone else. But soon, other Mega Mawile users might start doing that to make sure they're on your same level. Very soon, everyone is putting no EVs into any of their Pokemon's Speed to deal with Trick Room. With IVs adding extra depth, it's too risky to give your Pokemon zero IVs and EVs in Speed to keep up with Trick Room Pokemon. That is where IVs come into play in the meta game. Of course, that was an exaggerated scenario, but you get the picture.
No, I don't, because in that scenario everyone would use a 0 IV Speed 0 EV Speed
Please, elaborate again.
>. It's a good relaxant between battles.Goddamn, you're justifying it with opinions, it's a boring experience because you have to do hours of biking over and over, if that's what you find "relaxant" I really am clueless.
>The issue dismisses itself. If you don't like it, don't play it. Easiest solution in the world. The only thing that's prolonging your exposure to IVs is your choice to continue playing.Or fix the issue by removing IVs altogether
Do you seriously have this black-and-white view of the world? it's like I'm talking to a kid.
