Prequel to Red/Blue. Following Professor Oak and Agatha as they become Pokemon Trainers. Game has two story lines depending on gender of Character. If you pick Samuel Oak the plot is about you becoming more and more interested in the study of Pokemon up until you become champion. Agatha isn't able to defeat you but you decide to retire and become a Pokemon Professor. If you pick Agatha the plot is about you becoming more and more skilled until you face Oak as champion. You lose but when he decides to give up the position you battle him on last time, win, and become champ.
