If you had played Gen 4, you would know how outrageously centralizing Garchomp was. If you had played Gen 5, you would know how ridiculously easy it was to sweep with Drizzle + Swift Swim. Something like Gen 5 Keldeo was strong as hell, but not ruled to be broken. It didn't overcentralize. THAT'S the difference.
It does NOT promote creativity when every team on the ladder needs to run Porygon2/some other dedicated sponge just to take care of one extraordinarily common pokemon.
Again, you're artificially creating two versions of the same pokemon. Either it's broken, or it's not. Blaziken is broken, that's just the way it is. You're adding unnecessary complexity because you're blindly lashing out.
