>>22415584Less SR, battlespot/VGC is 4v4 so like at best you'd do like 25% out of 300% health to your opponent's entire team on four pokemon that are all neutral. Grab substitute or protect.
Don't run 252 speed on Blaziken, specify it for speed tiers, see what you hit after a protect, and arrange it to what you need to be able to beat there.
I usually just put enough in to beat base 130s.
Remember battle spot is level 50
You're probably gonna want Sacred Sword over Iron Head unless you think a single fairy-weak Pokemon is going to absolutely kill you against fairies. Even then it'll help you against stored power users.
Why choice band quick guard or will-o-wisp on burd
I mean I can sort of understand the former if you're already deep enough into battlespot metagame where you can predict a switch, but if you said this is your first time, you might want some U-Turn support or tailwind or something at least. Locking into quick guard is never good, especially in vgc since you'll basically tell your opponent you're gonna switch.
Really hope that's supposed to be a chesto berry on rotom.
Overall, Smogon singles/10
>>22415707Hypnosis is unreliable. If you're gonna use hex, might as well will-o-wisp or even toxic. Can potentially use solarbeam. Hex isn't going to be good unless your teammate is gonna need it for coverage on chandelure or something like that.
As for partners, Chlorophyll Venusaur is always fun. Zard Y can be a useful third/fourth to re-attach drought and take your mega slot.
Houndoom has a bit of utility in a sun team but opens you up to more weaknesses and leaves you even weaker when you don't have weather out.
Don't run max speed, you want to be slower than opposing weather setters so a single abomasnow doesn't screw over your entire game. Speaking of which, get something to deal with opposing weathers. Maybe something fighting who can take care of T-Tar and Abomasnow ttoo.
