ORAS tutors ruined Greninja for me. I used to like it when it was a special attacker with lots of variety in its moveset. No. 1 Ice Beam user was an amazing niche. It was walled by Azumarill and Sylveon, the Fairies were doing their job, it was a pretty cool mon.

Then GameFreak decided that Greninja having counters was unacceptable. It still makes me mad that they gave Gunk Shot to this thing, but not the dozen Poison types that needed it.

Do you think that they did this intentionally, or did they not realize how good Gunk Shot and Low Kick would be for the frog?
