Do you /have/ to pick up the Lati@s during the main game? I want to soft reset for a Shiny but the cut scenes and having to battle take so long. Is there a way to pick it up later?

Yes.

Thanks, Obama. At least having a synchronise lead works on it, and you can fly back to the route by talking to Steven in case you don't have one with you.
