And if you use simulators you have to play by their rules. And can't do things like the Battle Maison. Which gives you trophies for completing.
It's not like cheating skips the main story for you. It's not like cheating beats the elite four. Oh and sure you can say it makes it easier, but the games aren't hard to begin with. And not everyone who cheats cheats on the main story.
Also there is getting access to pokemon right from the start. I cheated by just spawning a Skrelp at the beginning of ORAS to use. No perfect IVs, no egg moves. Just the pokemon. But I couldn't get in on my game. And I certainly couldn't have used it at the start. That adds variety to the gameplay. But oh I guess its bad because muh cheating.
Now if you were against me using cheats against you that's different. But cheating on my own cart when it doesn't effect you. And you get all uppity. Fuck off.
