As for what they did to Mauville, that's perfectly fine, new content is good. I fucking hate that they shoehorned a connection to Lumiose city there though. Fuck.

Because it's in the middle of fucking Hoenn, it would be only logical for it to be come a good commercial spot like the two harbors since it connects the main four parts of Hoenn and you must pass from there to get to the other parts.
