It's pretty difficult trying to find players who battle so I decided why not go to a community dedicated to it? I mean, I just find joy in battling. So far, everyone who I have added from it plays really well and I find it challenging at times however I have a concern: whenever the battle tips to my favor they always DC... This has happened with 5 out of 7 of the members I added from the "Looking for a challenge." I'm mediocre at best and usually use a specific theme when battling so I have a lot of flaws.

My last battle I was using a UU team against an OU one.

I sent out my Mawile and started to use Sword Dance and Iron Defense planning to baton pass the little fucker. My opponent was trying to predict when the pass was coming. Finally after the third iron defense and second sword dance he rage quits...

Is this why Smogon is hated as a community?

Anyone else have any experiences like this?
