In an alt-verse, Dark and Fairy were never made as types. During the months coming up to X/Y, a new type is finally unveiled;

"Ogre"

From the brief gameplay footage, it appears as mostly Dark type moves with a bit of Fairy thrown in. Bulbapedia erroneously translates the Japanese as "Oni", though that is really what the type is meant to be based on.
