I can't really imagine how Galactic would use mega evolution. I mean their plan doesn't really call for it, unless the only way they can make their new universe is by mega evolving whoever they need to.

Fuck GF if they make DP remakes just with Mega Evolutions shoehorned in.
I want a Pt remake with the mechanics updated to the current generation, good visuals and keeping the good shit about Platinum unlike the shit ORAS was doing to Emerald.

Gen 4 was the last time there was a gameplay update that actually makes a difference ingame. Basically, these will be the first pointless remakes because the Gen 4 games already hit the pinnacle of the formula with the physical special split.

The only thing that bothered me was that, like you said, there were no fire types so I went and fished a Remoraid in Pastoria and taught it Flamethrower when he evolved (then I ruined it with Defug).

No, they haven't been playable for quite a long time now and then the actual carts are hard to find.
If they remake DP then you'll have the first redundant remakes because there's still plenty of them floating around and they're still currently playable.
