Would getting Recover make the Regis good? I feel like if they had reliable recovery they could at least see a little bit more usage.

Registeel would be BL or UU, the other RU or NU.
Ice and rock are the worst defensive types.

Regirock would be useable. I doubt they'd get past RU though, since nobody cares about them much.

Regirock is great in NU, if you want to use it effectively just change tier.
Also it's not like someone's gonna stop you if you want to use it in higher tiers.

To be honest I don't see them going up with just that. Regirock's best set right now is assault vest and recover doesn't work with that. Steel suffers from 4MSS if it runs a good curse recover set. Regice just gets OHKO'd because ice.

I've never really done the calcs, but what does Regigigas' stats look like with slow start factored in?

In place of lightning rod sure. But what they really need is to learn headsmash through level up. Having both rock head and reckless with nothing to show for it except takedown is bs.

If you're basing it on base stat total then only 80 attack and 50 speed.
Going more into it though, assume its max level with everything boosting attacking and speed, attack stat is 460 after slow start making it only about 230 and speed being 328 would only be 164

Now I wonder if using a special attacking assault vest gigas might prove sorta useful. He does have pretty good bulk along with the derpy normal type learnset.

Bigger actually. Look at actual stats, not base.
230 max attack during, Modest with max attack hits 284.

Remember multipliers multiply EVs, natures and IVs too. So they also divide them

It's best set is still like thunder wave nonsense
