Am I the only one who was really disappointed in the new Pokemon games?

So far the only wild Pokemon in the game are like poochenya, zigzagoon, wingull, whismur and a few other shitty newgen ones.
I'm in the 3rd badge so far and the only wild pokemon I encountered and actually wanted to catch was Abra. This really sucks.

Wish they did a remake of LG/FR or G/S/C with the new engine.
