>>22451647>>22449492>>22449480let me just gather what B/W or let's say BW2 (because I began replaying that the moment I beat the ORAS Elite 4 without a single death in my team due to excessive sekrit base hunting) did RIGHT over the older games, and Gen 6 UNDID.
- Battle speed is back to slow
- the bag is less ordered
- jesus fuck the challenge. Black 2 was at least really decent with that, every leader had a strategy of some kind, black key made shit even harder throughout, and after post-game you have lvl 8x mons you use to fuck up Plasma one last time
- wide variety of useful mons in baby stages in the first few routes in BW2 - not so much in ORAS (everyone has a guardevoir)
- more HMs
- smaller world
- less customization
- neither time nor seasons
- 3D makes it impossible to hide items in plain sight
- The Fairy type is fucking atrocious. It's true there was something to be done to make poison a legit attack type (steel not so much), but the defense and coverage of the fairy type is unacceptable. If it had at least a weakness against either electric, water, psychic or flying we could've talked
- many other things I forgot
I also found BW to have the best OST and little things to date (that fucking town where you activate musicians, actual stuff in dust bins, balancing on poles etc.), but that's just me
tl;dr: Why not have changeable difficulty? They know Pokemon is 50% older gamers by now.
