Well, I didn't dislike it really, I just thought it was a shitmon and unusable like everywhere

Then the mega came, it's actually usable and has a 10/10 design

Agreed with OP. Loppuny to me was gimmicky furbait with a wasted great offensive movepool until it's amazing mega came along. It redeemed it's unappealing base form in so many ways both competitively and atheistically .
