Who said anything about wanting it, but considering next year is the 20th Anniversary, it's likely. We won't get a game this year instead we will get the RG remake on February 27th next year.

I think it'd be cool if they made a reference to them as a glitch in some kind of in-game VR world or something. But I'd much rather a sequel to either R/B/G/Y or X/Y instead of another remake.

I don't see the point of a Sinnoh remake if you can still pay the originals on the 3DS. Maybe if/when Nintendo releases their next handheld and they inevitably fuck up backwards compatibility, but that's probably a few years out.

What's the alternative? Game Freak doesn't release a game that year? I'd rather have the option of more pokemon games than not. Even if the remakes are subpar I'd still rather have them than not. Just my opinion on it.

Uh, yeah? I'd rather have one quality game every two years than a shitty ORAS-tier game every one year. ESPECIALLY if it's just a rehash of a game I can already play.

ORAS might be bad but more Megas makes the annualizing of the series worth it.

they've already made it clear they plan on making the games themselves equivalent to mobile games, so you should probably give up on the hope for quality now and just focus on competitive play which is where all the real fun is.

The post-game content is climbing that motherfucking mountain and grinding all 'mons to absurd levels, then waiting an inappropriate amount of time up there until you get a bonus boss.

And yeah you have to leave the game running for a few years before the bonus boss shows up.
