Legitimate question, why hasn't Ash become a Pokemon Master yet?
He has accomplished so many things over years, has helped so many people, freed tons of Pokemon from being abused and even saved the world several times, by saving various legendaries from being exploited, hell, he's even become friends with some.
What truly makes a Pokemon Master? What is the true definition? What are the requirements of becoming a Pokemon Master? Catch all Pokemon? Know about every Pokemon? Beat ALL the gyms and leagues there are? What the hell.
Surely he must have beaten enough gyms by now already. He has travelled half the world and no one acknowledges what he has done now? How unrealistic is that? He's even got in contact with key persons like Cynthia and Lance. Surely they should really see what kind of person Ash is with their experienced eyes, right?
He treats his Pokemon with respect and has gathered a lot of friends over the years, of which I'm sure no one would deny that Ash couldn't be a great Pokemon Master.

It's really sad, I think. Being on an eternal journey trying to become a "Pokemon Master".
What do you even do as a Pokemon Master? Just have a smugass title? Or is there more to it?
Honestly, I feel sorry for him. It looks like he will forever travel on this eternal journey, until he eventually grows old.
