Why do some of you guys want to go back to Kalos so badly? It was pretty bland and we were literally just there, wouldn't you rather a new region/remake of an old region in 3d rather than literally x/y with maybe three more towns and a few more megas?

Because we want closure on Zygarde and a new version of Kalos that doesn't suck dick.

It'll hopefully be the Platinum of the 3DS. And maybe this time Diantha will be forgotten and Sycamore can be the champion.

I really enjoyed going around Kalos with a group of pals that thought you're the shit because irl I'm lonely and have low self esteem.

Serena was cute as fuck especially when she lost.

The cities were pretty memorable but that's maybe because they were in 3d.

The region as a whole was very refreshing and it also has the GOAT pre national dex to ever grace a cartridge.

Wanting to replay an old region in 3D is why we got ORAS. Hoenn was just as uninteresting as I remember it being in RSE, even with the dexnav and soaring. I'd rather get something new than get a polished hand me down. Why not just skip a third version altogether and get gen VII already? Unless GF held back the number of new pokemon and we instead go to a new region as the third version with another 70 new pokes, which I doubt.

It had a lot of wasted potential. Nice locations with nothing to do there (swamp, ghost house, etc.), couldn't climb the Prism Tower, unused lore surrounding Zygarde, obviously cut content (like the power plants), and so on. Kalos would be really nice if it was more fleshed out and complete.

Because we literally just got a new gen about a year ago. Most generational gaps are 3-4 years. There's enough bitching about rushed remakes and cut content. Fuck rushing the entire gen.
