event legends were the easiest to obtain
the hard ones are pokemon with 3 evolution stages that require items/trades and shit, like rhyperior/porygon and shit like that. and also random uncommon pokemon, you'll find they're hard to obtain on gts

I'm with a lot of trouble trying to get Jirachi, and with that, complete 3rd gen Legendaries.
I once exchanged some spare Megastones (I played the game twice) for legendaries.
By the way, how is that "easy"? Spamming in giveaways and shit?

i used to clone with the 2 3ds method back in the day and i would trade event legend for event legend until i had them all

The event-only legendaries, who are now: Mew, Manaphy, Arceus, Meloetta, Genesect, and Diancie. With those, you can wait patiently for someone to give them away here, or offer to trade shinies on the PSS.

As for the trade evos, asking a friend/acquaintance to help you out. People here may also help you out. Just remember to have your trade evo mons ready to go.
