Gen 6 is no perfect Gen, but its pros far outweigh the cons in my opinion.

Though I have my personal problems with mega evolution ("just add spikes!", shit stat distributions, lack of a proper evolution, no cross-gen evos), as a whole gen 6 will be remembered as one of the best gens. And the biggest issue I've had is not taking advantage of online integration to patch XY to be able to support ORAS megas is disappointing. It made sense before why previous games couldn't support new formes because patching cartridges is a bit more of a hassle, so I get why EG in Gen III I couldn't have Speed forme Deoxys in my RS, but it's 2015 and I should be able to battle and trade within the games of a given generation without restriction. If it really is inducement to sell ORAS, then lol.

And no they don't look like shit in my opinion, they're certainly an upgrade from the sprites. The models allow for far better movements and interaction. They just need to fix the color and it's all set.

The execution is not a good thing. It was good in XY but dropping it for no fucking reason in ORAS is just horrible and isn't a good thing about gen VI in general. Hell they even admitted themselves that they won't include it in non-Kalos games so that Kalos "ould stand out". That greedy as fuck.

Agree. There are some designs I think are absolute shit, but in general the designs of the generation were above average in my opinion.

I'm going to deny this to the end of the world. Not only is most of the design unimaginative as fuck but their inpact on the metagame is devastating. Megas have made singles nearly unplayable with their whole new levels of brokeness.
