If it was not for Sakurai, Jigglypuff would have no relevance. Meloetta replaced it as the singing Pokemon on all the albums, it has practically no merch, it's had one shitty filler card in the TCG since forever ago
Aside from Sakurai keeping it on a thread out of pity, how can you say it actually is relevant?
