Maybe, but I did get a Porygon2, Porygon-Z, Golem, and Alakazam from trading with strangers.

I usually give them a spare Hydreigon as extra incentive to tradeback, though.

Exactly. Which begs the question of why somebody would try to find such a thing on GTS in the first place.

If anything, Wonder Trade might be a better place to find good stuff. Sure, you'll get a lot of garbage, but then there are people who, instead of releasing a Pokemon, will put it up on there. I gave up a Zygarde on there the other night, since I got one from a friend and another via GTS.

It's easiest to do an evolve trade with only yourself, though it does take another copy of a same gen game.

>On game A, put up a shitmon on GTS asking for what you want to evo
>Switch to Game B, the one with the mon that needs an evo, search your own trade and trade yourself
>Switch back to game A, watch it evolve
>Back to game B, put up another shitmon asking for evolved mon
>To game A again, then trade yourself again
>Back to B, profit.

The best thing is, if you get sniped, you only loose a shitmon. It's that easy.

I think there was another time we traded and then the person kept trying to trade back what I gave them? And my thought was “Why did they trade in the first place if they’re now trying to trade me back"
