Okay so I'm met at a crossroads concerning how I'm gonna blow some of my BP. So far, for this little bugger I have the standard Poison Jab / Protect / U-Turn.

In regards to its third move, which would you guys recommend? Drill Run or Knock Off? Both have their ups and downs, so I'm having a hard time deciding. Any tips?

Knock off does better against things that will survive Adaptability x scissor and poison jab.

Remember neutral 80 Adaptability STAB is the same as super effective 80. Think of how many Pokemon you'll be hitting 4x on ground. Knock off has more utility if you're not gonna kill and you're only gonna hit as hard as X-scissor.

Is there any good use for standard Beedrill? I'm thinking of making a team made up only of low tier Mega capable Pokémon, and have none of them actually Mega Evolve. You know, for that guessing game.

It was just the first 80 power move I could think of for comparisons sake.

I thought poison jab was 70 for some reason. Gunk Shot being focus blast threw me off

If you're running Magnezone / Magneton, use Knock Off so you can remove Shed Shells from Skarm and etc. Drill Run if you're having trouble with Heatran.

Come on, you don't need Protect. Whenever Beedrill comes out everyone anticipates the Mega, and the Protect to make up for the speed drop. Every time they will switch to a potential counter or go for a stat boost, while you Dance with Swords and tear up shop.

Critdrill is fun, but not nearly as good as Crit Kingdra. Critdrill needs something high power that drops stats

You need protect, poison jab and U turn, the moveslot you have left should be used for coverage so beedrill can break through things he can't OHKO since he suffers from a severe case of nobalk and dies from non-STAB neutral hits.

You are leaving your mega up to chance. The only time you won't protect is when you know you'll outspeed anyway.

Wrong, it's known that scrubs such as yourself try to exploit that chance to boost, any player now knows there is a 50% chance beedrill will protect and a 50% chance he will boost, since almost everything in the metagame can one hit beedrill, they are just going to attack.

Pretty good parter for hydreigon good u turn core

Alot of people use protect its handy but its not need

Do you have good ground coverage on your team already? How much work will beedrill need to put in on an average game? Does your team seem like the kind that could be walled easily if it can't knock off things like eviolite or leftovers on certain pokemon?

Answering these questions should give you your answer.

I always attack beedrill just in case, but i also commonly use skarmory or balloon heatran so its safe for me anyways.
