I have a shiny Swablu. I'd like to use it to win some contests. How do I do this? I've never planted a tree to make berries, nor do I know what moves are good for this.

Bullshit, just maxing your stats won't do, and jamming moves aren't very useful.
You better get a move like Agility or Roar which moves your Pokémon to the front/the back on the next round, and then use Aerial Ace/Retaliate/whatever other move gives a lot of points if transformed first or last.

I'm telling you this as someone who has an entire box of Pokemon with every ribbon.

No matter how much time you take to plan your movesets, I am guaranteed half of the results bar because my Pokemon got the highest reception score during intros. As long as I got some positive results during the second round, I am guaranteed to win.

Rainbow Block + maxes out all aspects

all you're doing is managing your big lead with moves. 1 highly appealing move to guarantee you get at least 1 heart per round, 1 jamming so you can fuck over someone who scored high. You can swap the jamming for another highly appealing move or one that copies the appeal of the previous Pokemon. You can use Theif like another anon mentioned.
