>>22496298The only reason GF went 'crazy' with the HGSS OST is because the GSC OST only had 3 to 4 tracks per soundtrack. RSE had from 4 to 10 tracks per soundtrack.
Basically if GF left the HGSS soundtrack with 4 tracks then each all of the music within the game would sound incomplete. So GF had to improvise on each theme by adding more tracks to make them sound more complete.
ORAS didn't have to do this since there were already a lot of tracks to begin with.
