He also has insane bulk already for an offensive pokemon, so he could actually survive weaker SE moves while he boosts to retarded levels.
Not every pokemon needs to have fucking huge power, adaptability, speed boost, gale wings or whatever. There is more than one way to make a Pokemon viable. There is also something called variety.
