Resttalk basically only works on Milotic running marvel scale nowadays and even then competitive is more popular due to intimidate.

It's always been inconsistent giving you a 1/3 chance of wasting your turn but lately power creep has gone so high that a 100% recovery just means you're guaranteed a 2KO before you can even wake to rest again

resttalk mega aggron is just about the best way to run it with curse and heavy slam, though there are a lot of things that wall it even at 4x

It's not suicune, it's nowhere near as viable as water STAB in earlier gets was. You're resisted by too many common things in all of water, Electric, opposing steel, fire

It's better as anti-rock weakness in monotype

I had a rest talk garde a while back that worked "ok".

By that I mean I couldn't get past 1690 with it and never hit the 1700's.

Passed it some speed+Defense boosts with scolipede and let it tear through shit with Calm Mind and Hyper Voice, nothing has Soundproof in OU so even shit that resisted it still got shit fucked.

Rest is standard. Slack Off is only used by sub 1300 scrubs who aren't aware Toxic exists. RestTalk is viable, but forces you to drop useful moves such as non-stab coverage or calm mind.

I used to run a pretty neat cursetalk Goodra set. Maranga berry or lefties, dragon tail for the attacking move. That way they can't set up on you and if you have hazards you can accumulate some residual damage
