>>22507772Absolutely. I think Gamefreak really misses the oppurtunity to make battles exciting. An announcer, the pokemon having more animations, randomly throwing out their cries in an attempt to intimidate, more grandiose attack animations, maybe even a crowd cheering you on. Atmospheric elements could really do wonders for pokemon battles, and the home console games definitely tried in some regards.

Of course, that still doesn't make it a good game. More like a 50$ expansion pack.
